GP2 Series
As one of the five core values of the GP2 Series, the safety of our drivers is of paramount importance. Each of our new cars which include the latest specification anti-intrusion panels are subjected to the comprehensive FIA F1 crash tests, and must pass this stringent analysis before the teams are allowed to take delivery of the new vehicle. The series organisers work closely with our design partner Dallara Automobili to make sure that chassis rigidity and safety is of the highest standard, and this work has been ratified every time one of our drivers has safely returned to the paddock after an accident.
